Water saving takes off at FERN

FERN was awarded $50,000 last year to implement water savings on site and to engage the local community in saving water by the Community Water Grant scheme, a Federal Government initiative.
The project team has been meeting fortnightly since October last year, cementing plans for what FERN will spend the money on and confirming support from federal, state and local governments for these plans. 
Finally things are materialising on site:

Dates have been set for our Community Water Grant Series of Workshops, commencing with:
o    Saving Water in Your Home – a design workshop on Sunday June 10th, and
o    Harvesting Rainwater on Wednesday June 20th.
