FERN 2010 Annual General Meeting
A letter from the convener, Keith Marshall
This year has like the previous few years seen FERN grow, take on new projects and continue to provide valuable services to the local community.
As with all community organizations, t he volunteers are the people that driving the organization and make all the difference.
With our AGM coming up coming up shortly, NOW is the time for the members of the FERN community to step up and get involved in the organisation. At this point in time we currently have no nominations for our board and we are looking to fill it at the AGM. After 2 years as convenor and co-convenor of FERN it is now time for me personally to move on as well as some of our key board. We are obviously committed to a smooth transaction to the next phase of FERN and anyone that would like to come on board will be supported but we need to hear from you as soon as possible.
If you would like to discuss the opportunity of being on the board or how you can support FERN then please contact me, Keith Marshall, as soon as possible on 040 22 88 760.
As always, we want our AGM to be a celebration of our volunteers and members and as such it will include entertainment and lunch on us.
Consistent with our constitution please be advised that correspondence serves as our notice to you of our 2010 Annual General Meeting.
Who: All current FERN members, anyone wishing to join FERN and any members wishing to renew.
How: As we are catering for this event, we ask that you register for the event online via our website by no later than then 5pm on Monday the 25th of August
When: Saturday the 4th of September, 2010 at 12 noon (the AGM will finish between 12.45 and 1pm, and lunch will be served at 1pm)
Where: At FERN naturally, Cnr Montreal & High Street, Fremantle
What you get: Free Lunch for all current members or people that join or renew by Monday the 30th of August.
All non members can attend however they must register online and pay $15 for lunch.
What to bring: Yourself, an open mind and payment if you wish to join or renew on the day. For catering purposes, food will not be available on the day unless you register in advance.
